- If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for further diagnosis.
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Verify the scan tool MAP Sensor parameter is within the range listed in the following table: Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
- If not within the specified range
Refer to DTC P0107 or P0108 Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If within the specified range
- If not within the specified range
- Engine running, increase the engine speed to 2, 000 RPM.
- Verify the scan tool MAP Sensor pressure parameter increases and decreases with the engine speed.
- If the MAP Sensor parameter does not increase and decrease
Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the MAP Sensor parameter does increase and decrease
- If the MAP Sensor parameter does not increase and decrease
- Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the freeze frame/failure records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK
