Component Testing

Static Test

1. Ignition OFF.
2. Disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate Q17 Fuel Injector.
NOTE:

The DMM and test leads must be calibrated to 0 Ω in order to prevent misdiagnosis.

3. Test for 0.2 - 1.5 Ω between the supply terminal 1 and the control terminal 2.
   • If not between 0.2 - 1.5 Ω 

     Replace the appropriate Q17 Fuel Injector.

   • Go to next step: If between 0.2 - 1.5 Ω 
4. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the injector housing/case.
   • If less than infinite resistance 

     Replace the appropriate Q17 Fuel Injector.

   • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
5. All OK
