Circuit/System Verification

- Verify DTC P0101, P0102, P0103, P014C, P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0205, P0206, P0207, or P0208 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for further diagnosis.
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set .
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Verify the scan tool MAF Sensor parameter is between 5 and 40 g/s.
- If less than 5 g/s
Check for intake system leaks. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Diagnosis (Leak Test)Charge Air Cooler Diagnosis (Smoke Test) .
If no intake system leaks are found, perform a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Service Regeneration .
- If greater than 40 g/s
Check for intake system leaks. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Diagnosis (Leak Test)Charge Air Cooler Diagnosis (Smoke Test) .
- Go to next step: If between 5 and 40 g/s
- If less than 5 g/s
- Verify there are no exhaust system leaks. Refer to Exhaust Leakage
.
- If exhaust system leaks were found
Repair as necessary.
- Go to next step: If no exhaust system leaks were found
- If exhaust system leaks were found
- Replace the B195A Nitrogen Oxides Sensor 1.
