Component Testing

Intake Manifold Pressure and Air Temperature Sensor

  1. Ignition Off, disconnect the harness connector at the B65 Intake Manifold Pressure and Air Temperature Sensor.
  2. Verify the resistance between terminals 1 - 3 of the sensor is within the range specified in the Temperature Versus Resistance - Intake Air Temperature Sensor table, while varying the sensor between known temperatures.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the B65 Intake Manifold Pressure and Air Temperature Sensor.

    • Go to next step: If within the specified range 
  3. All OK.
