Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0045, P0047, P0048, P2564, P2565 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Turbocharger Vane Position Sensor = 0-5%
- If not in the specified range
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If in the specified range
- If not in the specified range
- Clear the DTCs.
- Engine - Idling
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Turbocharger Vane Position Sensor = 90-100%
- If not in the specified range
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If in the specified range
- If not in the specified range
- Perform the scan tool control function: Turbocharger Vane Position - From 20 to 80% and back to 20%.
Verify the difference between the following parameters is less than 3%:
- Desired Turbocharger Vane Position
- Turbocharger Vane Position Sensor
- If the difference is greater than 3%

- Go to next step: If the difference is less than 3%
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
