| Ignition | Regulated voltage supplied by the control module. |
| Control | The output circuit is switched to ground to activate the component. |

| Q41 Turbocharger Vane Position Control Solenoid Valve | In the unpowered state, the output port of the valve is connected to the ventilation port (atmospheric pressure). The more voltage applied, the more the valve shifts over from the ventilation port to the vacuum port so that the vacuum at the output port becomes stronger. |
| K20 Engine Control Module | The control module controls a series of actuators to ensure optimal engine performance. The control module does this by reading values from a variety of sensors, interprets the data and adjusts the engine actuators accordingly. |
