Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE:

Once the enable conditions have been met the throttle must remain at idle. Do not change the accelerator pedal during this procedure.

  1. Verify that DTC P0045, P0047, P0048, P0234, P226B, P2564, P2565, P2598 or P2599 is not set.
    • Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set 
  2. Inspect the vacuum system for an inoperative vacuum pump, leaks or loose hoses.
    • If a condition is found 

      Repair as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If a condition is not found 
  3. Inspect the turbocharger for a mechanical condition.
    • Go to next step: If a condition is not found 
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.

    Verify that DTC P003A does not set.

    • If DTC P003A sets 

      Replace the K20 Engine Control Module.

    • Go to next step: If DTC P003A does not set 
  5. All OK.
