Installation Procedure

  1. Clean the drive belt tensioner thread.
  2. GM2906649

    Install drive belt tensioner (1), mind that the guide nose (3) fits into the gap (4) at the lower engine front cover.

    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt (2) and tighten to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).
  4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Installation .
