Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement .
  3. Remove the underbody brace - front. Refer to Underbody Brace Replacement - Front .
  4. GM3137467

    Release the tension from the drive belt tensioner by rotating the upper drive belt tensioner bolt (1) counterclockwise and lock with EN - 6349  pin (2).

  5. GM3137466

    Remove the drive belt (1).
