Installation Procedure

  1. GM2918323

    Install a NEW transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe seal to the connecting piece from the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe (6).

  2. Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe (6).
  3. Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe (6) to the transmission hole (5). Make sure that the NEW seal is seated properly.
  4. Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe (6) to the 2 retainers (1, 2).
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe nut (3) to the stud (4) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  6. GM2918322

    Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe (2) to the transmission fluid cooler pipe - front (1). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

  7. Fill and check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill .
  8. Install the underbody brace - front. Refer to Underbody Brace Replacement - Front .
  9. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
