Installation Procedure

  1. GM3137469

    Install the auxiliary water pump (1).

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 2 auxiliary water pump bracket bolts (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. Connect the auxiliary water pump wiring harness plug.
  4. GM3137471

    Install the auxiliary water pump outlet hose (4) to the auxiliary water pump (2).

  5. Connect the quick fitting (3) with the water outlet housing (1).
  6. Install the auxiliary water pump outlet hose clamp (5).
  7. Install the underbody brace - front. Refer to Underbody Brace Replacement - Front .
  8. Lower and unsupport the vehicle.
  9. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  10. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
