Installation Procedure

  1. GM3352079

    Install the folding top stowage compartment lid hinge (2).

  2. Install but only handtighten the 3 folding top stowage compartment lid hinge bolts (1).
  3. GM3398204

    Position the BO-51074-30  adjustment tool under the folding top stowage compartment lid hinge (2).

  4. Use the support to adjust the height.
  5. GM3398203

    Adjust the folding top stowage compartment lid hinge height (1) to 108 mm ± 2 mm

  6. Prepare the BO-51074-30  adjustment tool.
    • Adjust the upper measuring adapter II to 195 mm.
    • Adjust the lower measuring adapter II to 150 mm.
  7. GM3352076

    Adjust the folding top stowage compartment lid hinge (1) to 584 mm ± 2 mm

  8. Prepare the BO-51074-30  adjustment tool.
    • Adjust the upper measuring adapter II to 160 mm.
    • Adjust the lower measuring adapter II to 130 mm.
  9. GM3471689

    Adjust the folding top stowage compartment lid hinge (1) to 484 mm ± 2 mm

    10. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  10. Tighten the folding top stowage compartment lid hinge bolts to 31 N.m (23 lb ft).
  11. GM3405244

    Position the hydraulic cylinder (1) to the folding top stowage compartment lid hinge.

  12. Install pin and clamp (4).
  13. Install pin (3).
  14. Install clamp (2).
  15. Connect the electrical connector.
  16. Left side only: Clip in the wiring harness to the hinge.
  17. Left side only: Reposition the folding top pump.
  18. Left side only: Install the folding top multifunction control module. Refer to Folding Top Multifunction Control Module Replacement .
  19. Install the folding top stowage compartment. Refer to Folding Top Stowage Compartment Replacement .
  20. Install the quarter inner trim finish panel. Refer to Quarter Inner Trim Finish Panel Replacement - Left Side , or Quarter Inner Trim Finish Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  21. Install the folding top stowage compartment lid weatherstrip. Refer to Folding Top Stowage Compartment Lid Weatherstrip Replacement .
  22. Install the folding top stowage compartment lid. Refer to Folding Top Stowage Compartment Lid Replacement .
