Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the body side front lower trim panel. Refer to Body Side Front Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front seat belt anchor plate tensioner. Refer to Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Replacement .
  3. GM4377201

    Slightly pull out the seat belt reach assist arm (1) and remove it from the quarter upper trim panel as shown in the graphic.

  4. Pull the seat belt (2) through the seat belt reach assist arm.
  5. Fold the rear seat to gain a better access to the quarter upper trim panel.
  6. GM2966381

    Remove the 3 quarter upper trim panel bolts (2).

  7. Remove the quarter upper trim panel (3).
  8. Pull the seat belt (1) through the quarter upper trim panel.
