Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON.
WARNING: Refer to Parking Brake and Drive Wheels Warning .
Verify DTC P182E was not set by reviewing the scan tool Freeze Frame/Failure Records.
- If DTC P182E was set
  Refer to DTC P1824, P182A-P182F, P1838-P1841, P18B5-P18BA, P18BC, P18BF, P18C0, P18C2 or P18C3 .
- If DTC P182E was not set
Ignition ON, engine OFF, S3 Transmission Shift Lever in the L position.
Verify the scan tool Automatic Transmission Manual Shift Switch parameter displays Up when pressing the plus (+) switch, Down when pressing the minus (-) switch and None when neither switch is pressed.
- If the parameter does not display the correct values
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If the parameter displays the correct values
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
