Removal Procedure

  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief

  2. Remove the J-34730-1A  gauge (1).
  3. Disconnect the quick connect couplings of the CH-37287-1A  adapter (2) from the fuel feed hose and from the fuel feed pipe on the fuel pump. Use a shop towel in order to catch any remaining fuel that may leak. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  4. Connect the quick-connect fitting of the fuel feed hose to the fuel feed pipe of the fuel pump.
  5. Turn ON the ignition in order to pressurize the fuel system.
  6. Turn OFF the ignition.
  7. Check for any fuel leaks.
