Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Disabling 
  2. High Voltage Battery (1) - Remove High Voltage Battery Replacement and Shipping Preparation

  9. Battery Cooling Air Inlet Duct - Front (2) - Remove

    NOTE: Take care not to damage duct seal (1) when removing.
  10. Battery Cooling Air Inlet Duct - Rear (1) - Remove

  11. High Voltage Bus Bar Fastener (1) - Remove [2x]

  13. Disconnect the ribbon connector. (1)

  14. Battery Vent Tube (1) - Disconnect

  15. Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
  16. High Voltage Battery Interface Control Module (1) - Remove

  17. Battery Hold Down Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]

  18. Battery Hold Down Retainer (1) - Remove
  19. Cell Battery Module (1) - Remove

  20. If replacing the cell battery module, insert the shipping bracket (2) that comes with the NEW cell battery.

  21. Install the retainers. (1)
