WARNING:
Always perform the High Voltage Disabling procedure prior to servicing any High Voltage component or connection. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must be followed.
The High Voltage Disabling procedure will perform the following tasks:
- Identify how to disable high voltage.
- Identify how to test for the presence of high voltage.
- Identify condition under which high voltage is always present and personal protection equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must be followed.
Failure to follow the procedures exactly as written may result in serious injury or death.
- Verify that no other DTCs are set.
- If any other DTCs are set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- If no other DTCs are set
- If any other DTCs are set
- Verify that P1E92, P1E93, P1E98, P1E99, P1E9E, P1E9F, P1EA4, P1EA5, P1FC3-P1FC6, P1FC9-P1FCC, P1FD5-P1FDC, P1FDF-P1FE6, P1FE9-P1FEF or P1FF0 is set.
- If the DTC is set
- Disable the high voltage at the A4 Hybrid/EV Battery Pack. Refer to High Voltage Disabling .
- Replace the applicable K112 Hybrid/EV Battery Interface Control Module.
- If none of the DTCs are set
- All OK.
