Diagnostic Aids

A short to ground or short to voltage on one reference voltage circuit can affect all the components connected to the same reference supply.

• The 5V reference 1 circuit is not used on this application.
• The 5V reference 2 circuit provides 5V reference to the B1C A/C Low Side Pressure Sensor.
• The 5V reference 3 circuit provides 5V reference to the internal high voltage measuring and isolation detection circuits.
• The 5V reference 4 circuit provides 5V reference to the B30 Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Current Sensor.
• The 5V reference 5 circuit provides 12V reference to the circuits listed below:
  • G35 Hybrid/EV Electronics Coolant Pump, enable, feedback and control circuits
  • Pre-Charge, Main positive and Main Negative high voltage contactor relay PWM control circuits
  • G14 Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Cooling Fan, enable, feedback and control circuits
  • Hood Switch
