Checks Causes
Automatic Transmission Fluid Pump Assembly (201)
  • Inspect for loose Automatic Transmission Fluid Pump Cover Bolt (200, 211).
  • Inspect for leaking Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Seal (202)
  • Inspect for improperly installed, restricted or damaged Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter (203).
  • Inspect for sticking Automatic Transmission Fluid Pump Blowoff Ball Valve (324).
  • Inspect for worn, sticking or damaged pressure regulator valve (309) or pressure regulator valve spring (308).
  • Inspect for damaged or restricted oil ports in the Automatic Transmission Fluid Pump (315).
Torque Converter and Differential Housing (13)
  • Inspect for missing or restricted differential lube oil circuit orifice.
  • Inspect for missing Front Differential Carrier Baffle (205).
Control Valve Body (23)
  • Inspect for leaking or damaged Control Valve Body Spacer Plate (432) and (456).
Automatic Transmission Case (19)
  • Inspect for proper fluid level.
  • Inspect for missing lube oil circuit orifice or front differential carrier baffle (62).
  • Inspect for damaged or leaking Control Valve Body Ball Check Valve (51).
Torque Converter (14)
  • Inspect for damaged torque converter clutch seal (inside converter assembly).
  • Inspect for damaged or disengaged torque converter hub to oil pump drive gear.
