- Verify DTC DTC C005A, C012A, C0035, C0036, C003A, C0040, C0041, C0045, C0046, C0050, C0051, C0055, C0245, C0299, C1207, C1208, C1221, C1222, C1225, C1226, C1232, C1233, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223, P057B, P057C, P057D, P057E, P05DC, P05DD, P05DE, P05E0, P0506, P0507, P0708, P0716, P0717, P0721, P0722, P0723, P0746, P0747, P0776, P0777, P077C, P077D, P0796, P0797, P07BF, P07C0, P0960, P0962, P0963, P0964, P0966, P0967, P0968, P0970, P0971, P16A0, P16A1, P16A2, P172A, P172B, P176B, P176C, P176D, P178F, P17C4, P17D3, P2122, P2123, P2127, P2128, P2135, P2138, P2534, P2714, P2715, P2718, P2720, P2721, P2723, P2724, P2727, P2729, P2730, P2732, P2733, P2736, P2738, P2739, P2805, P2812, P2814, P2815, P2820, P2821, P281B, P281D, P281E, P2824, P2826, P2827 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
- If no DTC is set
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission Shift Limiting Active Reason = Shift Limiting Not Active
- If not the specified state
- Verify there are no DTCs/symptoms related to the following system/component, if equipped:
- B107 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
- B21A Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor
- B22 Brake Pedal Position Sensor
- B303 Transmission Range Sensor
- B5LF Wheel Speed Sensor - Left Front
- B5LR Wheel Speed Sensor - Left Rear
- B5RF Wheel Speed Sensor - Right Front
- B5RR Wheel Speed Sensor - Right Rear
- If a DTC or symptom exists
Repair or replace as necessary.
- If no DTC or symptom exists
- Verify the following conditions do not exist:
- Engine Torque=Low or Unstable
- Engine Speed=Low or Unstable
- If a condition exists
Refer to Symptoms - Engine Controls
- If no condition exists, go to next step
- All OK.
