Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Test the resistance between the test points:Terminal 1@Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve & terminal 2@Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve. Verify the value is within the range listed in the table: Transmission Solenoid Information
    • If not in the specified range 

      Replace the component:Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve

    • If in the specified range, go to next step  , go to next step.
  2. Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Terminal 1@Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve & ground
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the component: Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve

    • If infinite resistance  , all OK.
