- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- S3 Transmission Shift Lever=L
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Driver Shift Control Mode » K9 Body Control Module=ON
- If not the specified state
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If the specified state, go to next step
- If not the specified state
- Press and hold the switch: S2 Transmission Manual Shift Switch=Up
Verify the scan tool parameter: Up and Down Shift Switch= Up or Upshift
- If not the specified state
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If the specified state, go to next step
- If not the specified state
- Press and hold the switch: S2 Transmission Manual Shift Switch=Down
Verify the scan tool parameter: Driver Shift Control Mode=Down or Downshift
- If not the specified state
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If the specified state, go to next step
- If not the specified state
- Press and hold the switch: S2 Transmission Manual Shift Switch
Verify the scan tool parameter: Up and Down Shift Switch @ K71 Transmission Control Module= Up or Upshift
- If not the specified state
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If the specified state, go to next step
- If not the specified state
- Press and hold the switch: S2 Transmission Manual Shift Switch=Down
Verify the scan tool parameter: Up and Down Shift Switch=Down or Downshift
- If not the specified state
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If the specified state, go to next step
- If not the specified state
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If the DTC is not set, go to next step
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
