Vacuum Pump Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LKW) and Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LTG) . Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
1	Vacuum Pump Fasteners (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Vacuum Pump Procedure Lubricate the vacuum pump seal with clean engine oil. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers . NOTE: Inspect the vacuum pump seal and replace as necessary.
3	Vacuum Pump Gasket Procedure Inspect the vacuum pump gasket and replace as necessary.
