Preliminary Procedure Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LKW) and Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LTG) .
1	Camshaft Position Actuator Exhaust Solenoid Valve Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Camshaft Position Actuator Exhaust Solenoid Valve Procedure Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the camshaft position actuator exhaust solenoid valve. Install a NEW seal if not replacing the solenoid valve.

Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)

Camshaft Position Actuator Exhaust Solenoid Valve

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the camshaft position actuator exhaust solenoid valve.
Install a NEW seal if not replacing the solenoid valve.
