Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Replacement (2.0L Diesel LUZ)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  3. Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
  4. Remove brake pipes from the dash lower extension panel.
  5. Remove engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
1 Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Nut to Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten 
19 N.m (14 lb ft)
2 Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Nut to Air Conditioning Condenser
Tighten 
19 N.m (14 lb ft)
3 Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Nut to Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose
Tighten 
19 N.m (14 lb ft)
4 Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly
