Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner upper housing (2).

  2. Install the 6 air cleaner housing cover bolts (1) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the mass airflow sensor (3) from the air cleaner upper housing (2). Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement 
  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct (1). Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .

  5. Connect the mass airflow sensor/intake air temperature sensor wiring harness plug (2).
  6. Clip in the ECM wiring harness (3) the air cleaner housing.
