Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the 3 exhaust flexible pipe to catalytic converter nuts and lower the exhaust flexible pipe. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (1.8L LUW and LWE) , Catalytic Converter Replacement (1.4L LUV) or Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.0L Diesel LUZ) .
  3. Support the rear of the powertrain using a suitable jack stand.
  4. Remove the transmission rear mount bolt (1).

  5. Remove the 3 transmission rear mount bolts (1).

  6. Remove the transmission rear mount (2).
