Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the camshaft housing. Refer to Camshaft Housing Replacement .
  2. Install the EN-46789  Camshaft Locking Tool.
  3. Remove and DISCARD the intake camshaft sprocket bolt (2).

  4. Remove the intake camshaft sprocket (1).
  5. Remove the EN-46789  Camshaft Locking Tool.
  6. Remove the camshaft housing plug (2).

  7. Remove the intake camshaft (1).
