Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Coat the oil pan heater with *Elastosil® P12 thermal paste

  2. Install the engine oil heater (3).
  3. Install the engine oil heater bolt (2) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Connect the wiring harness (1).
  5. Install the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .
