Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .
  4. Remove the 3 mount wire tie clips (1).

  5. Disconnect the engine oil heater power cable plug (2) from the engine oil heater (3).
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Loosen the engine oil heater power cable (1). Loosen the retainers.

  8. Remove the mount wire tie clip (2) from the bracket (1).

  9. Unclip the retainers (4).
  10. Remove the engine oil heater power cable (3).
  11. Transfer the mount wire tie clips and retainers as necessary.
    NOTE: Mark the original mounting position of the mount wire tie clips and the retainers.
