Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the crankshaft sprocket (1).

    NOTE: The crankshaft sprocket only fits in one position.
  2. Install the crankshaft sprocket spacer (2).
  3. Install and hand-tighten the crankshaft sprocket bolt (3).
    NOTE: The bolt has left hand thread.
  4. Install the EN-47630  crankshaft holder (1) in combination with EN-956-1  extension (2).

  5. Tighten the crankshaft sprocket bolt to 340 N.m (251 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  6. Remove the EN-47630  holder (1) and the EN-956-1  extension (2).
  7. Install the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement (New Belt)  and Timing Belt Replacement (Used Belt) .
  8. Close the hood.
