Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the automatic transmission flex plate. Refer to Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  3. Remove the 5 crankshaft real oil seal bolts (2).

  4. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal (1).
