Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install a NEW crankshaft rear oil seal (1).

  2. Install the 5 crankshaft rear oil seal bolts (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  4. Install the automatic transmission flex plate. Refer to Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Replacement .
