Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the automatic transmission flexplate (2) and loosely install 6 NEW automatic transmission flexplate bolts (1).

    NOTE: The automatic transmission flexplate only fits in one position.
  2. Install the EN-46792  holder (2) to the automatic transmission flexplate (1) in order to lock the crankshaft.

  3. Tighten the automatic transmission flexplate bolts to 160 N.m (118 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the automatic transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
  5. Close the hood.
