Turbocharger Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Install a NEW turbocharger gasket.
- Install the turbocharger (4).
- Install the 3 NEW turbocharger nuts (1, 2, 3) and tighten in two passes and in sequence.CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
- First pass to:NOTE: The sequence is necessary to avoid any damages of the gasket between the turbo charger and the exhaust manifold.
- Nut (2) 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
- Nut (1) 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
- Nut (3) 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
- Second pass to:
- Nut (2) 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
- Nut (1) 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
- Nut (3) 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
