Positive Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator Assembly Removal

  1. Remove the 2 positive crankcase ventilation tube bolts (2).

  2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation tube with PCV heater connected.
  3. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation oil separator bolt (3).

  4. Remove and DISCARD 2 positive crankcase ventilation oil separator bolts (5).
    NOTE: Cut slot in the bolt head and use hammer and chisel to remove the bolts (5)
    NOTE: Current laws require these fasteners only to be replaced with new tamper resistant fasteners identified specifically for this component. Refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog.
  5. Remove the PCV oil separator (4) in top direction.
  6. DISCARD the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Unit.
  7. Remove and DISCARD the seal rings (6).
