Catalytic Converter Installation

Install a NEW catalytic converter gasket (1).

Install the catalytic converter (3).
Loosely install the catalytic converter clamp (2).
Loosely install the 2 catalytic converter nuts (1).

Loosely install the 2 catalytic converter bolts (2).
Tighten the catalytic converter clamp to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
Tighten the 2 catalytic converter nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Tighten the 2 catalytic converter bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
