Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement (New Belt) and Timing Belt Replacement (Used Belt) .
  3. Remove the fuel injection pump driven sprocket nut, use EN-6347  holder (1) in conjunction with EN-956-1  extension (2) to hold up the fuel injection pump driven sprocket (3).

  4. Remove the fuel injection pump driven sprocket, use EN-46790  remover (1) in order to pull the fuel injection pump driven sprocket off the fuel injection pump shaft.
