WARNING: Gasoline or gasoline vapors are highly flammable. A fire could occur if an ignition source is present. Never drain or store gasoline or diesel fuel in an open container, due to the possibility of fire or explosion. Have a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby. WARNING: Refer to Safety Goggles and Fuel Warning . Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement . Place a collecting basin underneath.
1	Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Nut to Fuel Rail (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Hand tighten both fuel feed pipe nuts before tighten the final torque. Tighten 19 N.m (14 lb ft)
2	Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Nut to Fuel Injector (Qty: 4) Procedure Hand tighten both fuel feed pipe nuts before tighten the final torque. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
3	Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (Qty: 4) Procedure Close all open connections with EN-6368 plugs. Special Tools EN-6368 Set of Plugs. For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Diagnostic Tools) and Special Tools (Removal and Installation) .
