Circuit/System Verification

Engine idling.
Verify the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor parameter is between 4-15 g/s and changes when commanding the EGR Valve to 40% with a scan tool.
NOTE: Engine must be at operating temperature before proceeding with next step.
- If not between 4-15 g/s or does not change
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If between 4-15 g/s and changes
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
