Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON.
Command the Wait to Start Indicator ON and OFF with a scan tool. Verify that the Wait to Start Indicator turns ON and OFF with each command.
- If Wait to Start Indicator does not turn on and off
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing .
- If Wait to Start Indicator turns on and off
Command the Wait to Start Indicator ON and OFF with a scan tool while observing the following control circuit status parameters:
- Wait To Start Indicator Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status
- Wait To Start Indicator Control Circuit Open Test Status
- Wait To Start Indicator Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
  Each parameter should display OK or Not Run.
- If parameter displays Malfunction
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing .
- If parameter does not display Malfunction
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing .
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
