Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON
Verify that DTC P003A, P0045, P0047, P0048, P0106, P0107, P0108, P2564, P2565, P2598 or P2599 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
  Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- If none of the DTCs are set
Engine running, increase the engine speed to 2, 000 RPM and maintain.
Verify the scan tool MAP Sensor parameter increase to 100-140 kPa (14.5-20.3 PSI) when the Turbocharger Vane Position Solenoid Valve is commanded ON and decrease to near 96 kPa (13.9 PSI) when commanded OFF.
- If the MAP Sensor parameter does not increase and decrease as specified
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing .
- If the MAP Sensor parameter increases and decreases as specified
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTCs. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify a DTC does not set.
- If a DTC sets
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If a DTC does not set
All OK.
