Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission range selector lever cable.
  2. Install the transmission range selector lever cable grommet (2) to the bulkhead (1).

  3. Connect the transmission range selector cable end terminal to the shifter pin (2).

  4. Press the locking tabs inward and clip in the transmission range selector lever cable (1) to the transmission control (3).
  5. Press the locking tabs (2) inward (arrows) and clip in the transmission range selector lever cable to the bracket (3).

  6. Connect the range selector lever cable end terminal (1) to the range selector lever (4).
  7. Adjust the range selector cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
  8. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  9. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
