Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the control valve body. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement .
  2. Install a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead of sealer on to the control valve body cover. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers .
    NOTE: After applying the sealer install the control valve body cover within the next 10 minutes.
  3. Install the control valve body cover (1).

  4. Install the NEW 11 control valve body cover bolts (2) and tighten loosely.
  5. Tighten the control valve body cover bolts in sequence shown to 13 N.m (115 lb in).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  6. Install the transmission wiring harness bracket bolt (3) along with the transmission wiring harness bracket (2) to the transmission and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  7. Clip in the 2 wiring harness clips (4) to the bracket (2).
  8. Install the charge air cooler outlet air hose. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement .
  9. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose Replacement .
  10. Fill and check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill .
  11. Lower the vehicle.
