Preliminary Procedures Remove the fuel tank filler door. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement (Encore) . Remove the rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
1	Fuel Tank Filler Door Latch Housing Retainer (Qty: 4) Procedure Using a flat-bladed tool, release the fuel tank filler pipe housing retainers through the wheelhouse opening.
2	Fuel Tank Filler Door Latch Housing Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped. Ensure the fuel filler door locking rod is in the lock position while removing the housing, if equipped.

Fuel Tank Filler Door Latch Housing Retainer (Qty: 4)
Procedure
Using a flat-bladed tool, release the fuel tank filler pipe housing retainers through the wheelhouse opening.

Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
Ensure the fuel filler door locking rod is in the lock position while removing the housing, if equipped.
