Remove the instrument panel outer air outlet duct. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Trax) Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Encore) .
1	Windshield Defroster Outlet Duct Fastener (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Windshield Defroster Outlet Duct CAUTION: Refer to HVAC Duct Heat Stake Caution . Procedure Disconnect the windshield defroster outlet duct from the right and left side window defroster outlet ducts.

Windshield Defroster Outlet Duct Fastener (Qty: 6)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

Windshield Defroster Outlet Duct

CAUTION:

Refer to HVAC Duct Heat Stake Caution .

Procedure
Disconnect the windshield defroster outlet duct from the right and left side window defroster outlet ducts.
