Installation Procedure

- Measure distance from mounting point web (3) to point (2) and scribe a line, leaving excess material (A) 3- 4mm (0.12- 0.16 in). Trim excess heat stake material boss (1) using appropriate tool.
- Side Window Defogger Outlet Duct - Right Side - Install
- Side Window Defogger Outlet Duct Bolt - Install 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
- Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Trax) Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Encore) Install
NOTE:
When instrument panel is being replaced with a new one cut the left and right side outer bosses on the new instrument panel in order to install mounting bolt into the side window defogger outlet duct. If original instrument panel is being used proceed to step 2.
