Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power steering fluid cooler (2) on the vehicle.
  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Power Steering Fluid Cooler Nut - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  5. Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Pipe to Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Install
  6. Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Pipe Clamp to Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Install

  8. Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose to Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Install
  9. Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose Clamp to Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Install
  10. Install the plastic push pin (3) in the power steering fluid cooler bracket.

  12. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Power Steering System Bleeding
