Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
1	Rear Compartment Lid Applique Assembly Nut (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 7 N.m (62 lb in)
2	Rear Compartment Lid Applique Clip (Qty: 2) Procedure Depress the clip fingers and push outward in order to remove the rear applique.
3	Rear Compartment Lid Applique Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Disengage the electrical harness grommet from the rear compartment inner panel. Remove the applique assembly from the rear compartment lid. Transfer the rear license plate lamp wiring harness, if needed. Refer to Rear License Plate Lamp Wiring Harness Replacement .
