Preliminary Procedures Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement . Remove the radiator grille support reinforcement. Refer to Front Grille Support Replacement .
1	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Retainer Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Procedure To release the hood primary and secondary latch unhook the hood primary latch release cable. Disconnect electrical connectors as needed.

Tighten
22 N.m (16 lb ft)

Hood Primary and Secondary Latch

Procedure

To release the hood primary and secondary latch unhook the hood primary latch release cable.
Disconnect electrical connectors as needed.
